What is the MTA? The name of the image in the Schoenstatt shrines including the Pilgrim Shrines in your homes. MTA = Mother Thrice Admirable. Why is she thrice admirable? She is admirable: 1) as the Mother of God, the Redeemer and of the redeemed 2) in her power, her kindness and her faithfulness 3) as the daughter of the Father, Mother of the Eternal Word, and vessel and shrine of the Holy Spirit.
