Schoenstatt of Indiana

Schoenstatt of Indiana was legally incorporated as a not-for-profit organization in in the Fall of 2005 and received its official recognition in August, 2006 as a tax exempt charitable organization.  Its purpose is to foster the growth of the Schoenstatt Movement in the state of Indiana; to maintain the Schoenstatt Wayside Shrine in Delphi, Indiana, as a place of pilgrimage; and to work toward the establishment of a Schoenstatt Shrine and educational Center in Delphi, where retreats, days of recollection, and meetings can be held, and hospitality given to pilgrims.

An international movement of education and educators, Schoenstatt aims at the moral and religious renewal of the Church and world through the formation of “the new person” and “the new community.” Schoenstatt of Indiana, Inc., serves locally the worldwide work of the Mother Thrice Admirable, Queen and Victress of Schoenstatt from her Schoenstatt Shrines and Schoenstatt Centers.  It does this by joyfully proclaiming the message of Schoenstatt and drawing people into Schoenstatt’s spirituality (characterized by the Covenant of Love with our Lady, everyday sanctity, and instrument piety), recognizing in it a divinely inspired answer to the needs of our modern times.
